I think i should introduce myself Smile

My name is Henrik and i live in (rainy/windy?) Gothenburg in Sweden. I have a master degree in Electrical Engineering and my favorite car is the classic Saab 900!

I have had Saab since i was little (Saab 96 V4, Saab 99, Saab 900, Saab9000 we had it all), i think that is why i love these cars. Not only are the special design appealing, but it reminds me of my childhood..

Over the years i have tried a lot of cars in this order:

1) Opel Kadett -86, my first car. I really loved it, but the rust was unavoidable. (R.I.P)

2) Saab 96 V4 -74, Really funny car in excellent green colour Smile (R.I.P)

3) Ford Sierra 2.0 -88, Got it for free, that says it all? (Hopefully this crappy car is wrecked by now Smile )

4) Saab 99 2.0i -82, Now we´re talking, i drove this car for more than 2 years and it always worked. (R.I.P)

5) Saab 9000 2.3T, it was my fathers car but i mostly drove it due to he working so much abroad. First turbo-car, wow that was something Smile (Got stolen and now wrecked, R.I.P)

6) Saab 900 T8 -89, the year is 2004, and the day the 26th of december. We drove 1200km to get it. Love at first sight Very Happy (Still have it)

7) Saab 900 Aero -85, bought this last year because i really wanted a car with T16 engine. The plan was to "fix" it up a little bit, and for those of you that have seen my project threads (900aero.com for ex) have seen that the level has been highly increased and now it should be as good as factory new Smile (Still have it, of course)

8 ) Saab 9-3 SportSedan Aero -04, bought it early this year. This is a very good car and funny to drive, but it is somehow connected to the cost Smile Most expensive car i have owned, but if you dont have a girlfriend you can spent the money the way you like ;) (Still have it)

Also have bought some "spare-parts-cars" of the years. Still have a 900 T8 -88 and a 900 Aero -87 standing around. Too bad to ever be driven again.

Ah yes, my familys Saab 9000i 2.0 we bought new in 1988, and in 2002 when we bought the 9000 2.3T the old one had run 470000km with the original gearbox and engine! Thats amazing. Smile We never had any serious repairs on that car.

Any questions? Smile

BR,
Henrik
