It's certainly a good stripe for the earlier 900s (and 99s, of course).

Here it is at the UK SAAB Owner's Club National in 2004:

I am so glad to read that the owner has put a lot of work and effort into keeping this car on the road.
I like the Swedish "World Cup Football" flag on the car next to it Laughing
