Thats probably one of the prototypes. First ones were of that color. There was some 6 of them IIRC, some are dead for now, but some should be alive yet. There have been some talks about those on different SAAB forums. 900aero.com definitely, someone considered restoring one...
Those in Trollhättan were also that color,

As far as I know, that is number 2 of 5 prototypes for the SPG.
Widde (from 900 Aero) nearly bought number 1 which had been in a barn for years ... it was bought by someone else, but at the time I remember pictures of this car which IIRC is number 2. |

Supposedly there are few of these cars here in the states. I remember seeing an ad on saabnet.com some time ago that ended up selling for $36,000 and it had ~170K on it if I remember correctly. _________________ Brad Lauzze

I was really thinking about repainting my convertible pearl white instead of cirrus white, putting a color matched preface lift Aero kit, lights and grille on it, and putting a red dash in it.
Then I woke up and realized that it sounds good but I don't have time to do it all. _________________ Brad Lauzze
