Have anyone of you seen these?
I just got hold of a set (new never used in box, Saab original extra equipment)
Note: These are not to be confused with the plastic wind/rain-deflectors for mounting on the front-doors. These are made of metal, painted black, and are mounted on each side of the windscreen.

Very rare, never seen! Not sure I would want to see them on my car either, but exotic stuff is always fun to have.
I saw a "Child protector" kit this summer in original box, but didnt buy it. Basically a big plastic thing to put in between the front seats. Useless, but rare... Perhaps we should make this thread about useless and rare acessories? _________________ 5x C900 Turbos Including 2x Aero and MonteCarlo-Edition. |

I first saw a set on eBay about four years ago. Intrigued, I put a bid on them and then another ... by the time it got to £30, I stopped chasing it. The kit sold for over £50 in the end!
It's a good idea! Of course, Minis have them as standard as part of the guttering.
One thing I don't like about these is that they fit under the windscreen rubber seal at the top. I also think they'd rub badly where they fit into the gutter at the bottom of the windscreen.
Still, an interesting accessory. |
