They look like they are sagging but i think it is definitely the design of them as the CX has a concave rear window and it neatly slips underneath the metal side strip - unlike the Citroen CX, the Citroen BX one also "raises" up.
CX is actually the acronym for CD in french - which is coeffcient of air restistance. _________________ 5 x 900's

Enough with off-topic!
More project info has arrived
Trunk is going forward:
Also the rear wheelshousings: (the right one is now welded into a position we believe in, will be welded permanently after testing with the new outer plates):
Some new parts also:
- Window lifters
- Headlamp washer arm
- Rear windows in the correct color
- Heatshield for exhaustsystem (only front, the rear is not sold anymore )
I believe the new headlamp washer arm came with the facelift in MY87?

Hello Everyone Im on vacation in Mexico put thought i would take a little time to update my thread. Before i left i bought a lot of nice new stuff for the car I have been working alot before my trip to fix rust on my 900 Turbo8 -89 (in the rear wheels houses. ugah! I have pictures how to fix the rust in a good way ;) )
But anyway, here are some more stuff for my Aero, new of course:
- Idle motor (my new engine didnt have any)
- Complete kit rubber parts for the front any back window (the harder ones)
- Rubber for the doors, both doors and body.
- Rubber for the lower parts of the doors.
- Lists(?) for the lower part of the rear door
- Splashprotectors in front of the rear wheels
- Wiring harness for the front doors.
- Switchar till heat, electrical windows and mirrors etc.
- All badges (DOCH16 is already at home)
- Main instrument (Canada version)
- Fan
- Steering wheel.
I was thinking keeping the Canada instrument, since its a little special (it has text instead of symbols) and the Steering wheel is WOW, the feeling is lovely and the surface is so different from a used one. It has never been mounted in a car One thing i noticed was that it seems to be thicker than the old one i have, have you got any info about that? Someone on the swedish forums stated that he imported a c900 from Europe (probably germany), a late modelyear, and the steering wheel was different. Any info would be appreciated.
I have bought some more fun stuff but that i will show you later
Take care!
/Henrik

Where do you get hold of all those special new parts? From different people all over the world, or from Saab maybe? _________________ 99T16 - project

Hehe, its from Sweden only. I know people that has worked at Saab and also renovated these cars in the 1980s, some things they have laying around, some things their friends has etc etc. Its a lot of searching, but my eyes are getting pretty good at distinguish c900 parts
Other places are for ex. internet sites where people sell things in sweden (Blocket.se). There is alot of old Saab parts laying around at ex. old Saab dealers.
I like your car by the way

I also want a load of new parts like that Unfortunately for me, there seems to be more parts laying around in Sweden than in Norway, and I guess there's a natural explanation to that.
Anyway, I think this is going to be great when it's "finished"! Maybe you'll become "the next Pearlwhite Peter" Good luck! _________________ 99T16 - project

I took your advice and read through from my last post on page 1, glad to see progress is still being made with this car.
