Hi everyone - It occurred to me that I really ought to introduce myself 
I'm Paul, an incurable SAAB nut with particular fetishes towards the Classic 900 and the 96, although I have yet to own, drive or even ride in a 96. It all started around 1985. I saw a white car with a big spoiler cruise on past making a nice grumbling noise and I thought to myself, "that's not a Porsche". I didn't know what it was for a couple of years until I saw a motoring magazine with the front cover, "PORSCHE KILLER!!!" and a picture of this car ... yes, that car was a Classic SAAB 900. Ever since then, I vowed to own one.
The moniker 'Orca' comes from my current Cirrus White Classic 900 Aero which reminded me so much of a killer whale when I first saw it. It's my pride and joy I love it to bits ... I can't get enough of driving this car - it's not just the speed, it's the slow driving, too. I just adore it.

As you can see, I love cooking as much as I love SAABs. When I'm not driving, I'm cooking (or thinking about cooking, or driving my SAAB) and when I'm not doing either, I'm probably eating ... or drinking ... my favourite poison is Scandinavian Vodka (Finlandia, Absolut, Reyka, etc) and Swedish Akvavit. Skøl! Aside form spirits, I love Belgian beer.
That, or car detailing ... very therapeutic!
Music? Post-punk, Goth, Industrial, early EBM and Neo-Folk. Oh, and Nick Cave ... big fan of Nick Cave 
Films? Horror ... all the way ... Hammer Horror being my favourites.
Books? Any that contain pictures of food, SAABs or Sweden  |
