I have only gone and bought another 900 Turbo Shocked - this will most probably be for spares but i will have to have a good look and make a decision then. It was badly vandalised, pics to come...

Blimey! That's in bad condition - what are you hoping to salvage from it? The wheels could be refurbished easily and actually, the leather could be repaired to a good standard.

Yeah - thats what i thought! I will hopefully salvage as much as possible off of it - the leather could easily be done and as you said, the wheels will come back. Also, any usefull parts off of it to help the other 900's.

The doors are a shame - they might pull out and if the bottoms are in good shape, that might be worth it.

I would salvage most bits out of the engine form relays to coolant pipes to the head, the turbo, the manifold and so on ... I would also grab the dash fascia and any other turbo gubbins, such as the APC system which you can easily graft onto that new LPT. Here's a picture of the whole APC system pulled:

... and a close-up of the relevant bits:
Loom: http://www.pjgh.co.uk/gallery/orca_miscellaneous/APC_Wiring_2_002
Knock sensor: http://www.pjgh.co.uk/gallery/orca_miscellaneous/APC_Wiring_2_002
Pressure transducer (inside the car in the passenger footwell): http://www.pjgh.co.uk/gallery/orca_miscellaneous/APC_Wiring_2_002
APC solenoid valve: http://www.pjgh.co.uk/gallery/orca_miscellaneous/APC_Wiring_2_002
... oh, and the box. Got all that? Fit it to an LPT Wink

Grab the headlamps, indicators, wing mirrors, etc ... parting all that out you could get a lot back for it if the wind blows in the right direction on eBay. Basically, anything that's not knackered.

Right, thanks for the info on that - got it back and the brakes are seized solid, could hardly move it Mad , must have been stood round for ages.

Right, time to get the spanners out...

Went down to the barn today and took a couple of more snaps of this 900. It has quite a nice numberplate with "900" in it Smile and a very tasty (!) stainless steel exhaust. I bet this would have been a nice cherished car before the vandals got there sticky mits on it - a sign is the Saab Owners Club sticker in the rear window.
