Hi mate - good to see you here. I'm happy to say saab01 is being well looked after by our SAAB friends at the Lancashire SAAB Owners Club (a wing of the SAAB Owners Club of GB).

saab01 has a "special model" from 1983, which was called the S Pack. Basically, you got stiffer suspension (same as the turbo models), Minilite-style wheels (stamped with the SAAB logo), a sunroof (only available on the turbo models) and a few other bits and pieces including the "block pattern" seats.

Having seen some pictures, it's a lovely car in great condition (especially for a 25+ year old car) and the normally aspirated 8V car makes a very reliable and capable car in my opinion - I always regard my old 8V 900i as my favourite of the Classic 900s that I have owned Shocked Cool

If saab01 doesn't manage to get some pictures hosted and posted up (it's not easy for everyone Wink ) I'll post up a few that he sent me with very kind permission to use on the Classic 900 Special Editions website ... when I FINALLY manage to get it back online Embarassed I'm sure he wouldn't mind me showing you guys here.
