Well some of you will remember me from way back when I had my white 900 Aero 'vert and '93 turbo 'vert. You will also remember I fell off the face of the earth after I sold the Aero and bought my '97 900 Monte Carlo.
I came back briefly only to disappear again and after a good year sabbatical, I'm back. I spent alot of time on some of the more main stream Saab forums but found there to be alot of bickering amongst the forum members so, I left.
Everyone here was always very easy going, and knowledgeable, so this is going to be my home forum again.
So in the time I've been gone, the '97 Monte Carlo has become a very unique car, and my 9000 has continued to sit parked except for the occassional 2 mile drive to work.
I participated in restoring a '77 99 EMS notchback with only 14,000 miles on it, and numerous more modern projects involving mainly NG900s and 9-3s.
Whats been going on with everyone on here? Orca? Golfhunter? Fill me in.

Hi mate! Welcome back. Things here are a lot slower (I like to say gentler) than on the more mainstream forums.
We've had a few new members and unearthed a few new interesting cars - namely from that wacky Swede Lief Mellberg. We've also been discussing Monte Carlo cars here - Classic 900s, of course
Read up ... shouldn't take you long |

I have been reading through some of the threads to bring myself up to speed.
Right now, there are no plans for a C900 in my future. We currently don't have the space, and my Saab fund is being drained regularly my Monte Carlo Yellow. (Body work, rare accessories etc.) I met the original owner who was nice enough to give me some of the cars history, only 32 such cars were sold in the U.S as part of 350 globally.
There are only a few C900s that I really want... A '93 turbo Commemorative Edition hatch, or a black '91 SPG. My third choice is a Ruby, but I just don't have the wallet to bring one into the U.S. The other two choice cars are impossible to find without significant rot damage. _________________ Brad Lauzze
