Huge link, but hope it works. Check out the price... Its not even original. Maybe the Germans like their 900 this way, but to do build this engine on a nice MonteCarlo? Rolling Eyes

Wow! That car has had a lot of work done.

Funnily enough, just yesterday a chap parked up behind me while I was washing the car and told me about his friend who wants to sell his Monte Carlo convertible, but doesn't want to sell it to anyone ... he wants to sell to an enthusiast who will really appreciate it.

I have yet to go and have a look at the car, but if the price is right and it all checks out okay we might replace our black convertible. I don't think I'll have a problem selling the black convertible.

Go for it Orca. I can only recommend it!!!! Not that black is bad in any way, but a MonteCarlo is "the" Convertible. Ofcourse, Im not completely objective in the issue, but many people agree I think. But the condition is most important of course... Expensive to get new parts, interior etc, but if its nice you should buy it! Looking forward to more info from you later!

He was a little hazy on the specification, but said it has a bodykit and swirly Aero wheels. I'll get in touch with the owner via this guy and go for a look.

This guy did say that his friend bought it from a chap up in Cumbria, UK. I know that yellow SAABs are rare enough and I think I have a good idea who he bought it from. I am following that up, too to see why he sold it on.
