The "Gold cab" belonged to a guy named Olle Sandström, he was the Saabdealer in a city called Veddesta. He was really inspired by cars with golden parts from MonteCarlo and decided to make one of his own. The 900 Convertible with golden parts has only run 8000 km !! It is as new as it gets. His green 99 Turbo was also there, and has run 28000 km. He was a man that liked to look at the car more than drive them apparently
Too bad he past away last year, and for this meeting it was his daughters that took out the cars.
Orca: Didnt you ask me for a translation about a 900T -79 some time ago which had some parts of gold?? As it turns out now, that car was also owned by Olle This car: http://www.saabklubben.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=83763

Yes, that's right Henrik - Olle seems to have "quite a thing" for gold cars. I like his style - it's original
A gold turbocharger is taking things a little too far, though
